Glencoe Iceby ~ArwensGrace

Taken last saturday in the awsome valley of Glencoe, Highlands of Scotland. We walked along the frozen ancient trail, which was the original road through the mountain pass before the modern road was built,and must have seen some bloody and violent sights in its time. It was quite eerie.

Hi Angie,

I've just been looking through your "Best Photography" folder, and noticed what a difference your new wide angle lens has made to these awesome landscape shots.

This picture is especially dramatic. The detail of those snow covered mountains in the distance is so sharp. I'm amazed at how much is captured in the frame.

The view is simply breathtaking, and I can almost feel the chill of that crisp mountain air. I love the peaceful mood of this shot too. What a wonderful place. This is a brilliantly captured scene.
