The beautifull Buachaille Etive Mor in the Glencoe mountain range , Scotland.

Photographed with some fine friends and fellow photographers on an ePHOTOzine members meet last saturday (7th Nov) .

We got up at 4am to drive the 2 hours from Pitlochry to Glencoe for sunrise. When we arrived it was cold, grey and raining and you coulden’t even see the mountain the fog was so bad. We persisted though and were rewarded with some nice early morning light

It’s taken numerous trips over 5 years to get a decent pic of this spot, one of my favourite in Scotland. Hope you enjoy it

This is an amazing image, I love how the water looks like it was painted, and those clouds make that mountain just pop out of the ground like that. It reminds me of something you might see in Lord of the Rings. That tree is a nice touch, balances out all the dark earthy texture of the rocks, and the white from the water helps bring in the white from the clouds in the sky. I would love to see more angles, to get a good look at the '

ersonality' of this mountain and its surroundings in the future. If you can get the timing right, maybe with fewer clouds to really show its majesty. That moon in the background is a nice touch as well, and brings the image together. I really do feel it has more of a fantasy look to it than just an average picture. But maybe if you could get closer next time, or at a different angle without the tree in the image.

I still love it though! Fantastic job!
