It looks as though the sky is cracking open spilling out light upon the water and sand. Nature can be so amazing, and you've caught a beautiful moment with your camera. I love the technique you've used on the water and how you've composed the shot.

The only thing that seems out of place is the bit of seaweed in the corner. If it was larger, or perhaps a piece of driftwood it would add interest to the photo. But it's just too small in my opinion to add that interest in the foreground. Instead it keeps pulling my eye down to it instead of focusing on the breaking light.

Great work. What a super opportunity you have, I've seen your other photos at the same beach and they are just lovely.

This is an amazing picture. I've never actually been to Scotland, so I can't really say if it's been done before or not. But I did notice something: Maybe balance out the orange with the colors a little more next time if it's possible. It might help the picture flow a little more. The shot of the foamy water on the bottom half of the screen flows with the clouds on the top half. If you could get rid of that black thing in the bottom right hand corner, the picture would be perfect! Other than those few things, I really see nothing overly wrong with this image. It kind of reminds me of the East Coast of Florida on a cloudy day.

I would love to crit, but I dont have a premium membership.

I would like to say that the composition is fantastic, with the assymetrical balance and the way the lighter clouds are mirrored by the waves crashing onto the beach. You also have a wonderful eye for color.

The one thing that bothers me is the extremely dark object in the bottom right of the picture. Having a darker object helps draw the eye around the picture, but it may be too dark. Then again, nature is not perfect, and that may be what makes it so gorgeous.

I love this one, it has a dreamy mystical and moody feel to it. I like the ?dark seaweed at the bottom, I think it balances the darkness from the clouds.

Thankyou :) The black object is seaweed , I haden;t thought about taking it out because it injected a bit of reality into an otherwise unreal image.Since recieving the critique on this pic though I have looked at it differently and will redo a version without it . Thanks for yout time :hug:
