"Swindle and Death are an old fashioned family theatre ensemble, now somewhat reduced, but still persisting in their classical and populist fare, touring Shakespeare and popular Melodrama "entertaining Scotland since 1707". Their repertoire includes "Wha's Like Us", a musical and historical journey through the famous events of Scottish History. At most of which, it turns out, some version of this theatre company or other was actually present… Marjorie, a new actress, auditions for the company and is welcomed as new blood, literally. The denouement, a memorable performance of Othello in Ballachulish, might bring the curtain down early on a promising career! Hilarious and thought provoking. "
